In the North of Cameroon, the coexistence of the populations with the elephants sometimes puts problems. During their movements, the elephants often destroy the cultures and sometimes villages. It was the case for Laf, a village where the inhabitants were heavily stricken. Joséphine Bertrand helped them with a distribution of clothes and blankets to the most deprived. This distribution, placed under the high patronage of the province's Governor , was made in the presence of of the representative, the prefect, the sub-prefect, and the village's chief . These photos show the happiness of the recipients. |
